New History Section
Some of our visitors had noticed that the History section of the site contained a article related to the Valley.
So we sat and we did some brushing up.
You will now find quite an interesting piece about the quarries and the tramway.
We hope you enjoy it as much as we did.

Also you may have noticed that the Welsh translation of the site has now changed, every page that is available in welsh will feature the Welsh Flag at the top of the menu.
We are working on the rest of the site and appreciate that this may cause some difficulty for some or our users.

Canolfan Ceiriog Centre
With the Ceiriog network working with Canolfan Ceiriog Centre on their website, we will be adding their piece of the site very soon, keep an eye out for them appearing in the menu.

Our new profile system is up and running,

This allows you to sign-in and use your details in all of our system.

You will be able to

• Upload a picture to your profile
• Add details about yourself
• View other parts of the site others cannot
• Add your own pictures to the gallery

Here we have our new User to User mail system, this allows you to email site members, such as us, the Administration Team, or other site members that you may know,

You can simply type away and that message will then be sent to their email address and in the inbox of their site-mail account.

All members have this privelege when they sign up, simply use the form that is at the bottom of all the pages to either log in or register.

Once you have registered, you will them be able to access your site-mails.

Hello...and Welcome

This is our new website, we hope you like it, for many years now we have sat on the old design and system,
Now we have upgraded our system and have had a bit of a redesign, although you may not see too many changes, that is how we wanted it,
so that you see the Glyn Ceiriog Community Site you are used to.

This website is going to go under the knife and have a very big operation, we plan to introduce many new features to the website,

Such as

• Submit Services - you can now add your own service to the services directory.
• Site Email - user to user email system within the website.
• Newsletter - a quaterly newsletter on updates and events throughout the village.
• Email Address' - your very own glynceiriog.org.uk email address which you will be able to access through Hotmail.
• Community Profiles - you will be able to upload a picture and add extra details about you and what you do in the community.
